Come to get your special first edition copy of Latin Lives: 600 Years of the Royal Latin School - a fascinating new book that tells the story of a school that has evolved throughout six centuries of triumphs and challenges, and gives a fascinating insight into the leadership and changing educational landscape in the town of Buckingham.

Latin Lives: 600 Years of the Royal Latin School has been researched and written by E J Hounslow - himself an Old Latin. It includes introductory chapters detailing the unique beginnings and early days of the school back in the 1400s, and continues the story throughout the centuries to the modern day, brought to life through contributions of memories and anecdotes from former students and teachers.

Our Book Launch evening will be hosted in the Discovery Centre at the Royal Latin School and will include the chance to meet the author, buy a first edition, and listen to a selection of readings from the book. As well as the author, E J Hounslow, we will also be joined by internationally bestselling historian, author and broadcaster. Dan Jones - who is also an Old Latin and has provided the foreword for the book.
