House Music is one of of the highlights of the school calendar and the six houses treated the audience of 650 parents, students, staff and Old Latins to a brilliant mix of music, from ABBA and Queen to Radiohead and Amy Winehouse, including beautiful solos, lively instrumentals, contemporary and country dance routines, and comey from the House compere students. Nearly 200 students from Year 7 to Year 13 performed on stage. As always, this was a closely fought competition, with high quality performances from all six houses, but congratulations to Stratton on winning the cup!
One of our Year 13 students, Marcus Kaniewski, summed up the event well:
'House Music 2025 was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. By Sixth Form, you realise it isn’t just about winning or taking part, but about the remarkable things we achieve when we come together, bridging year groups and uniting through a shared passion. I’ve watched students grow into confident musicians, built lifelong friendships, and cherished every moment of this unforgettable event.'
