Would you like to support the governance of the Royal Latin? Have you the time and energy to be a governor? If so, the school would like to hear from you.

The Royal Latin is currently looking for new governors to join its friendly governing body. As a single-academy trust (SAT), our governing body is the trust board. As an Old Latin, you will know what a great school this is and hopefully have a valuable perspective to contribute. Our governors have a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience, but all share a common interest in wanting the best possible education for the young people in our school. 

Governors are essential for the effectiveness and success of the school and the role is an extremely rewarding one. All school governors serve a four-year term. They act as a ‘critical friend’, working to strategically oversee the running of the school. To apply for this vacancy, living locally may be an advantage, but it is not imperative; remote meeting attendance is also possible.
