For ten years, since the opening of the school's new science facility, 'The Discovery Centre', in 2015/16, the Royal Latin School and the Lillingstone Trust have worked in partnership to bring a series of free community science lectures to the Royal Latin School and the wider local community. Lectures take place in the Lillingstone Trust Community Laboratory in the Discovery Centre (science lectures) or the Lillingstone Trust Mind & Body Zone in the ek robotics Sports Campus (sports science lectures). This lecture from Dame Dr Maggie Aderin DBE, entitled 'The Four Big Questions in Space and Astronomy' is intended to be a special celebration of this partnership between the Royal Latin and the Lillingstone Trust, and a fitting finale to the 2025/26 Lillingstone Lecture Series.
To find out more about this lecture or to book your seats, visit the event page. Early booking is advised.
